Pros

  • Engaging Whack-A-Mole style gameplay
  • Visually pleasing graphics
  • Strategic use of power-ups
  • 50 challenging levels across five different worlds

Cons

  • Potentially monotonous with too many levels within each world

Totem Tap is a captivating arcade game with an engaging Whack-A-Mole playstyle, blending thrilling gameplay with visually pleasing aesthetics.

Gameplay and Mechanics

In Totem Tap, your primary task is to topple over appearing totem poles by tapping them. The game introduces an element of risk with the sporadic inclusion of bombs which you must avoid touching. Failure to tap a totem pole results in a reduction of your life bar, while coming into contact with a bomb leads to an immediate game over.

Extra Features and Power-ups

To add to the excitement, tapping certain totems releases gems. Collect these gems by tapping them as well, and utilize them as a currency to purchase power-ups. These power-ups can be strategically used to tackle the toughest levels or make a comeback when the odds are seemingly against you.

Levels and Worlds

Totem Tap boasts 50 levels, each offering its unique set of challenges. These levels are further divided across five distinct worlds. However, you start with access only to the first world and its levels. Overcoming ten levels grants you entry into the second world.

Graphics and Visual Appeal

Apart from the addictive gameplay, Totem Tap shines through its stunning graphics. The visually appealing designs and vibrant colors contribute significantly to the overall gaming experience.

Downside

While the game is generally enjoyable, some players might find the number of levels in each world slightly overwhelming. Nevertheless, the game's captivating graphics and engaging gameplay can largely compensate for this minor shortcoming.
